Those two stats are calculated from your own device's real charging speed — not a fake fixed number — so the App needs to observe one real battery reading change before it can estimate anything.

• Keep the App open (or the charging screen active) for a few minutes after plugging in
• iOS only reports battery level in ~5% steps, so the first update can take a few minutes depending on your charger
• Once the App sees that first jump, both values populate and update continuously from then on

Yes. Go to Settings → Security and turn on PIN Lock — you'll be prompted to set your 4-digit PIN right there. Nothing about skipping it during onboarding blocks you from enabling it later.

Six animations are free to use right away. The rest of the 50+ library unlocks with a Pro subscription, available from Settings → Video Animation Library or the star badge on any locked animation.

Ad removal is included with a Pro subscription. Go to Settings and look for the "Remove Ads" option, or restore a previous purchase from the same screen if you've subscribed before.

If Face ID is enabled, use it as a fallback to unlock, then go to Settings → Security → Change PIN to set a new one. If you have no way in, reinstalling the App will reset all local settings, including your PIN — this also clears your locally stored intruder logs and preferences.

The animations run while your device is actively charging, so any extra draw is offset by the charger. We optimize every animation for OLED displays specifically because true blacks use meaningfully less power than a bright, full-screen animation would.

Yes — go to Settings → Language and pick from English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Japanese, or Simplified Chinese. This switches instantly, no reinstall needed.

Open the Shortcuts app, search for "Secure Charging Animations," and add the Start Charging Animation action to any automation — for example, "when my charger connects." You can also find a step-by-step guide inside the App under Settings → Shortcuts Guide.
